Golf Mk7 1.4 GT TSI. May 25, 2020. #1. Gradually doing some checks over the car. Couldnt find any sticker on the B pillar so looked online for pressure on 1.4 GT TSI with 225/45/17 tyres. Huge variation in recommendations. I have now found the sticker on the fuel flap and it says 29psi front and rear which is on the low side of many ive seen Step 12: Remove the Oil Filter Housing. Another thing that has to come off to remove the intake manifold is the oil filter housing. You will need a 32mm socket designed specifically for the oil filter cap. Step 13: Disconnect Sensors from Intake Manifold. There are two more sensors on the manifold that will need to me removed. I have since move on and is in the progress of running a stage 3 project, adding a hybrid turbo, oil catch can, oil-cooler and a water-methanol setup. The car is running 1.65 bar and the engine internals are still fully stock for now, with forged pistons and conrods in the plans. Will be glad to share what I have learnt from the project to date. VW Golf 1.4 - 1.4Tsi cambelt interval - gordonbennet : There's a 2016 Golf 1.4 tsi in the family, probably up around the 40 or 50k mile mark now but that needs confirming. Volkswagon Golf MK7.5 (1.4 TSI) Oil & Oil Filter Change — Service Reset; How to: VW 1.4 TSI (Golf Mk6) oil & filter change (service) saZF. For all the money you will spend boring out a 1.4 to a 1.8 (probably not possible), custom tuning, bigger turbo, upgraded clutch (stock clutch is pretty weak), etc you will have spent more than you would’ve if you had just bought a gli, gti, or 1.8. And you’ll still be slower than a stage 2 gli (downpipe and tune). Today I did my first oil change and realized this causes somewhat of an issue. Golf MK7 2014 Jan 12, 2017 #14 That's so weird. I find the 1.4 TSI so easy to read. Hello guys! So I am considering buying a used MK7 around 80k kms and 6-7 yo models. Some have faced many problems whilst a lot of people have only experienced small issues with the car so far. I'm new to this forum but a long time user at the brazilian Golf MK7 forum. My car is a 2014 Golf 1.4 TSI, 140hp and 250Nm with 6 speed manual gearbox. A few weeks ago I installed the DG springs, because the stock height is extremely high. Might be highest Golf suspension in the word. The car with stock springs Step 1 Loosen the oil filler cap and remove to allow for easy draining Step 2 Remove the splash shield as shown. There is a number of screws, bolts and two clips as shown by arrows. Step 3 Locate the drain bolt on the sump, and drain the engine oil. Once drained, reinstall the bolt with a new crush washer. Step 4 All for better fuel economy and the fight for climate change. Just be glad VW didn't bring over the 1.0TSI. Or the new 1.5TSI ACT OPF, that makes the same HP/Torque figures as the 1.4TSI we have, or the Evo version, with 128 hp/147 lb-ft.
