They do 90ps endura old school engine, a 100ps TDCI and a 115ps TDCI so the 115 is the most powerful too and is quite nice and torquey :)

pin2 alternator load request. pin3 reference voltage. pin3 should match battery voltage and is fed from a fuse in the engine fuse box a high resistance on the fuse causes a voltage drop and smart charge drops out. to test pin 1 the waveform should remain constant if it mirrors pin 2 then the alt or smart charge is faulty.
Ford Model: Focus sport TDCi. UK/Ireland Location: Down. Posted December 25, 2012. For the past while my fan belt has been squealing on my 1.8 tdci in the mornings for a while and then disappears. But the last week it will continue to do it for a good while longer. I had the belt off and it looks pretty good. All the pulleys spin freely and the
Hi guys, I just recently found out that the radiator cooling fan on my 1.8 tdci doesnt work. The radiator is apparently big enoguh that the car is perfectly able to cool itself during all seasons. The main problem is the AC gets hot when stationary since there is not enoguh airflow to cool the radiator and you can hear the AC compressor clutch

I am looking for advice and experience from other drivers of a focus with the 1.8 TDCI engine. I got my focus in January of this year after a nightmare with an Audi which I thought would be able to survive the high mileage and I couldn't of been anymore wrong. I switched back to Ford as my Fiesta lasted 18 months and about 50K and only need
The Seimens injectors in the Mk2 Focus do not have calibration codes to set into the pcm, as Russ says. But there is an advice that if all 4 are changed (or pcm changed), then service function "Reset the Knock Sensor Learned Values" should be run. Forscan can do this (from version 2.1.18).

On the 1.8 TDCI the replacement interval for both the timing belt and the timing chain is 125.000 Miles/200.000 KM or 10 Years (whichever comes first). The 1.8 TDCI has a timing belt between the camshaft and the fuel pump and a timing chain (or wetbelt after approximately 2008) between the fuel pump and the crankshaft.
