Thrustmaster Control Panel Settings. Forza Motorsport has a Soft Lock feature and makes it easy to set the proper steering angle per car in-game, meaning you can leave the rotation set to the maximum in the Thrustmaster Control Panel. Console players can ignore this entirely. Setting. Value.
G27. I just mean FFB deadzone, the wheel is very loose when you only turn it a little, but the car still turns and when you turn the wheel more and there's more lateral G being created it suddenly has a lot more weight. This is definitely Forza issue and it doesn't happen in games that have proper FFB e.g. Assetto Corsa.
That makes countersteering quite easy. If I use my wheel though (900°), settings to simulation or normal, I just can't countersteer fast enough. When checking telemetry, the steering level moves just so slowly to either side. I most of the time do massive 180° oversteering because I can't turn the wheel fast enough. Even with 0 damping.
This steering sensitivity is ridiculous. Even on higher end sims, like assetto corsa, where im driving with specific FFB maps for my wheel, the steering input of f1 cars isn’t this extreme in game. In FH5 im currently running stock FFB setting. My wheel is normally set to 900 degrees of rotation, but can be set to 720, 540 or 360.
But keeping beginners in mind, here are some of the best cars to get drifting within the UK countryside. Mazda Mx-5 Miata. Mazda RX7 Spirit R (Type A) Nissan Fair Lady 350Z or 370Z. Nissan Silvia 240 SX SE. These four options are considered legends in real life as far as drifting culture is concerned.
ShokushuSenpai. • 2 yr. ago. As someone who's spent pretty much their entire time playing drifting and since you are new, I recommend starting off with power sliding which is drifting with an AWD car, get a drift differential on it and generally you should be good, personally I change the bias to 90%-95% rear when making AWD "drift" tunes. EcCuOp. Hi I was just curious if anyone has experience with a sim wheel setup and could help me out. I have a logitech g923 and I followed some guides online that seem to do alright in a relatively straight line but if I turn a little to hard the cars begin to spin out and I can not correct it no matter what I try it seems.

So far FH5 crashes on Fanatec gear atm, but there are noticeable improvements. More grip and FFB sensations on road surfaces. Much easier to sense the feel of your suspension, though not perfect it helps sense what is happening with the car to react better (plus just more immersive). Added grip helps with RWD.
